I was very impressed, came well packaged and even comes with batteries. The design is very simple but stylish. Would benefit from having a wireless remote. I really rate the concept of the baby breathing monitor. As a new parent the responsibility is overwhelming. Therefore reassurance like this is so helpful. It actually allowed me to chill out a little which is definitely needed after a day with a toddler and newborn! Being able to fall asleep without the worry of not waking up if baby was to roll onto his tummy was wonderful. The concept allows parents some down time knowing that their little one is safe and happy! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The font used makes them very easy to read. Can’t fault them! This was very easy to set up once I’d read the instructions. The wires are a slight annoyance, seemed to get tangled when fitting but easily untangled. If the monitor was wireless it would make it much easier to install. This was very clear to see and effective. As soon as baby is picked up the alarm sounds. We had it fitted in our next to me crib and there were no issues with Eddie reaching it. It has definitely given us peace of mind. As an anxious person, this has been a god’s send! It has allowed me to relax which has resulted in me not having to check Eddie every two seconds. The alarm sounds as soon as the baby is picked up. It is very loud, I can confidently say that I would wake up to it even if I was in a deep sleep! The sensory pad is a good size. We took this on holiday with us to my parents who has a Moses basket and it fitted well in that, which is smaller than our next to me crib. The alarm is very loud! My concern was that if the door was to close slightly that I wouldn’t hear it from another room, therefore I made sure doors were always propped open. If the monitor remote with the alarm was wireless this would be handy. I would consider upgrading and getting a second sensor pad. We use many rooms in the house for Eddie’s naps and having to move the monitor every time is annoying. Therefore I would purchase another for a different room. This did give me peace of mind. It took me a few test runs until I was confident that it worked efficiently however I now have complete confidence in this monitor and it has eased my nerves so much! We had this in Eddie’s next to me crib which he sleeps in every evening and also in his crib in the living room. Mainly used this in our bedroom while he slept at night. This is also ideal to take with you when visiting relatives and ideal to take on holiday. We actually did it. We took it with us when visiting my parents and it was easy to pack and gave us peace of mind to have dinner etc in the evenings without having to check on Eddie constantly. Coming with a two year guarantee is important to me. Not only does it show that the manufacturer is responsible but it’s also an expensive item. Having a guarantee makes me feel more inclined to purchase this. The quality of this monitor can’t be faulted. I think it’s definitely worth the price tag! I like the fact that the alarm is very loud and the simple yet effective style. I really can’t find many cons to this product other than the remote being wireless so that you can take it into other rooms with you. Good value especially when you have a guarantee for the life of the product. For a parent the peace of mind this provides is worth far more than the price tag. I would buy this. With my eldest son I used a video monitor. I really wish I’d have known about this product then. I now don’t need to stare at the monitor to see if he’s breathing. I would recommend and my cousin has just had a premature baby and I think this would be excellent for her. I would highly recommend this product. This product is great! The peace of mind it provides is every new parents dream. The only negative is the remote not being portable to take into other rooms. If someone has a large house I would worry that they may not hear the alarm. It’s loud and in our house there were no issue ,however, I feel it would be amazing if this were wireless! I have thoroughly enjoyed testing this product. It has provided me with peace of mind to sleep, without having to set alarms to check on Eddie throughout the night. It is simple and easy to use and even comes with batteries – very rare these days! I would recommend this to every new parent, but especially the parents who are anxious like me. Newborn’s are so delicate and with the reassurance of the alarm it allows new mums the time to relax and fully recover! Top marks to the manufacturer. Definitely recommend this product.

Simple and straight forward instructions, made for a quick set up, nothing extra needed. This was very quick and simple to set up. We have used it on 3 cots and each time it has been easy. (one when on holiday, one in the bedside cot, one in larger cot in nursery when baby transitioned to her room). The lights are simple and helpful, I particularly like the fact the light mirrors the breathing, this is my favourite feature as I can tell when she is unsettled or about to wake as her breathing changes. I can quickly look at the light in the middle of the night to check she is ok rather than turning on a nightlight and staring at her chest to watch her breath which isn’t always easy when half asleep! I think that it is a little on the large side and could be made smaller, the large face at the top doesn’t seem to serve a purpose. The feature design ensuring baby cannot reach this is a good design feature. However my very long legged very active baby did manage to pull the wire with her foot and get it wrapped round her leg. I would worry that someone would put this at the top of the cot and an arm could do the same. I would prefer a wireless connection between the mat and the unit for additional safety. The alarm is very helpful although I would say the volume of the beep when you turn the mat on is excessive and ideally could be significantly quieter as on numerous occasions the noise woke our baby after we had put her down once we turned it on. Luckily the alarm has never sounded as a result of her having a problem with her breathing but it does sound if we have forgotten to turn it off as we take her out of the cot. The size of the mat is good and almost filled her next to me bedside cot, it is still a good size for her larger cot in her own room and we have positioned it at the end where she sleeps so it is effective. It is large enough that if she moves a lot (which our wriggler does) it will still pick up her breathing rate. Our daughter has recently started side sleeping and I was worried it wouldn’t pick it up but it does not problem which is great and provides further reassurance. Having just recently hit the 6 months mark and just moved her into her own room this was a great feature as we could hear the alarm from downstairs and through her monitor. I would purchase a second sensor bad as her larger cot in her nursery is so big (it converts into a toddler bed) it would be useful having a second one to completely fill the length of the cot and bed once we change it to give complete peace of mind.
